, IMHO you just can’t hear anything good from SUN about OOXML, so w might find another company’s argument

Er….thats ludicrous. Read the article.
First of all, Tim Bray != Sun. Second, He didn’t comment __at all__ on the validity of OOXML, the article was about the ISO Fast Track process.
