The new hotness

January 10th, 2007 — 7:48pm

Treo 680 for sale, barely used. The phone I always wanted my treo to be:

And specs:

Beautiful UI, looks easy to use, cant wait to get one in my hands to play with. Unfortuantely, there are still a lot of questions that are unanswered. Some of the missing details: 3G? MP3 ringtones? Developer community/API? Push email? Document editing/viewing? Unlocked version?

convergence rules!

August 24th, 2004 — 4:44pm

And so my master plan has begun to come together. This week I purchased

a 1GB SD card for use in my Treo 600. Combined with the excellent Card Export software from Softick, I now have what amounts to a Phone/Palm/1GB USB storage. Sweet!

Next up, I’m selling my current camera and will purchase one that uses SD.

Finally, someday, I’ll purchase myself a nice Linux laptop with an SD reader built in.

And now, with the new bluetooth enabled treo coming soon, my life will finally be complete.

New network gear

August 16th, 2004 — 7:28am

Got a sweet new Linksys Network Storage Link today. It uses samba to share external USB 2.0 disks over your network. I had some initial issues having it read my Acomdata RocketPod, but a quick download of the newest firmware, and I was on my way.

Now, how does it work streaming video???…we’ll see.
