Ubuntu Podcast #31

July 22nd, 2009 — 8:01pm

Nick!Josh & Nick, or is that Nick & Josh?, rolled out Ubuntu Podcast #31 the other day.  I’m really digging the use of the <video> tag in modern browsers.  As more and more shows start to use it, hopefully the pressure on legacy browser makers to support open video will increase.

Nice job, as usual, guys!  And dig the hair!!!!

Ubuntu Firefox Search Plugin

March 19th, 2009 — 11:11am

How to add the search plugin:

  1. Learn Vim — this is not strictly necessary, but useful nonetheless.
  2. click on the glowing downward facing arrow next to your searchbox.
  3. Click “Add Ubuntu Wiki Search” and/or “Add Ubuntu Community Help“.
  4. Bask in the glow of having all of that Ubuntu knowledge at your fingertips.
